Error 1 — Treating the quadrants as departments
Quadrants are perspectives on the same event, not silos. A reorg has all four quadrants in it simultaneously; the L&D team does not own one of them.
Error 2 — Skipping the upper-left
The interior of the leader is the single most-skipped quadrant in any rollout. It is also the one that decides whether the rollout sticks.
Error 3 — Mistaking states for stages
An offsite is a state intervention. It is not a stage shift. Stage shifts take months and require structural follow-through.
An offsite is weather. A stage shift is terrain.
